Terms of Services
Last Updated: July 23, 2026
Welcome to our website. By requesting service, receiving an estimate, or scheduling work with Neuse River Septic LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before utilizing our services or website.
1. Services Provided
Neuse River Septic LLC provides residential and commercial septic tank pumping, routine maintenance, system inspections, and related wastewater management services. Specific scopes of work will be outlined in your service estimate or booking confirmation.
2. Property Access & Right of Entry
- Access: The customer agrees to provide safe, clear, and unobstructed access to the property and the septic system components (including driveway, yard, and tank lids) on the scheduled service date.
- Gated/Locked Areas: If gate codes, keys, or special access instructions are required, they must be provided prior to arrival.
- Animals: For safety, all pets and livestock must be secured away from the work area while our crew and equipment are on-site.
3. Digging & Uncovering Lids
- Standard estimates cover pumping services assuming tank lids are accessible.
- If tank lids are buried and require hand or machine excavation by our crew, additional labor fees may apply unless previously included in a written quote.
- While we take reasonable care when digging, we are not responsible for minor lawn or landscaping cosmetic disruptions directly above or immediately surrounding the tank access lids.
4. Site Conditions & Pre-Existing Damage
- Driveways & Underground Utilities: Our heavy utility vehicles require suitable driving surfaces. The customer is responsible for informing us of any hidden underground lines, sprinklers, or fragile driveway conditions. We are not liable for damage to property resulting from weight-bearing limits of non-standard driveways or unmarked underground fixtures.
- Structural Tank Integrity: We are not responsible for pre-existing deterioration, structural collapse, cracked risers, or failing tank walls discovered during or after pumping.
5. Payment Terms & Late Fees
- Payment Due Date: Payment is due upon completion of service unless prior written credit terms or commercial invoicing arrangements have been established.
- Accepted Forms: We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.
- Unpaid Balances: Accounts not paid within 30 days of service may be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge or the maximum legal limit, plus any reasonable collection costs incurred.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We request at least 24 hours’ notice for any service cancellations or rescheduling. If our technicians arrive at the property and are unable to perform service due to lack of access, blocked driveways, or uncollected animals, a nominal trip/service fee may apply.
7. Hazardous Materials & System Contents
Septic pumping services cover standard domestic sewage and wastewater. Tanks containing non-standard, hazardous, or prohibited chemicals, grease trap waste (unless specified), or non-biodegradable debris that requires special disposal may incur additional processing fees or refusal of service as governed by local environmental regulations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neuse River Septic LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or website. Our maximum liability for any claim arising out of service performance shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific service call.
